Community Farmer's Market

Saturday mornings at Batesville General Store, from 7-10 AM throughout the season.

Everyone is welcome.  We will also have eggs, baked goods, plants and herbs, flowers, handmade and handsewn items.  Every Saturday for the rest of the season. 

If you're a vendor and would like to participate, everyone gets a table at no cost.  We need more veggie sellers!  Call Barbara at Batesville General Store for details 706-947-3434.

Lots of new plants this year!  We're concentrating on tough plants that can take a little neglect.  We think of Cottage Garden Furniture as home decor, so with that in mind, we've picked plants that can be put into containers, walkways, rock gardens.  Home decor really begins the moment one arrives at your home!

We're open every day through the summer months.

Cottage Garden has been known for years as a home décor store where you can find interesting art, furniture, plants and flowers for your home and yard. Recently, we ran across a tremendous opportunity with a designer furniture line who specializes in European/French Country painted furniture. In particular, Guildmaster is a line of furniture I have long admired and have tried to even duplicate on my own furniture. Most of the pieces are display pieces or end of the designer series. 

The cost to Cottage Garden is well below wholesale and I am passing the savings to my customers. Most of the price tags will reflect what the designer piece would normally sell for and then the Cottage Garden price which can sometimes be at a reduction of 40% to 50% !!
